A job offer! did he apply for a job?

If the answer is "no" then the email is spam, just someone trying to steal money or identity from you......

If it askes for your

Name:
Address:
Phone:
Age:
Marital Status:

ect.

It is a scam.

Also If it doesn't address your husbands full name. It is a scam.

Coming from Nigeria. It is very likely a scam.

If you cant think where they got your eail address, and you dont know who they are. It is a scam.

jane
well you should know if he applied for a job there or not
you know its a scam if he didn't
they'll probably send another email asking for money
beware of anything from nigeria

this a very hard question to answer, because it all kind checks out but honestly when has there ever been a scam which isn't well thought out? So no personally i wouldn't trust this

This kind of mails are called 419 scams. There are lot of mails coming from various countries and basically originated from Nigeria. Recently I also got a similar kind of mail from a Reputed Bank of Germany and when I was in doubt, I investigated on my own and found that this is a scam. Indications of such false offers are High Salary, All the Amenities and emails are from consultants with personal Id and not from comany's id. You can also check the telephone numbers and they are all mobile numbers and not land line numbers of the company.

Just investigate and be thrilled to know how people cheat. However this is only a scam and not an original appointment letter.

?Contact the better business bureau and have them checked at the internet crime complain center. www.ic3.gov. But anything that seems to come out of nigeria I have found is a scam. don't give out any personal info. like your bank account humber or ss# or anything that would make you liable to lose alot of your own hard earnings.

Check with interpol and the Federal Bureau of Investigations websites. They usually have a list of common international scams. Checking with the CIA wouldn't hurt either. But to be honest it sounds fake like brazillian boobs to me! My dad was in oil for 22 years and when he retired he was approached by a "Nigerian Company". They almost got him, but thankfully the FBI was able to help us out before any money was stolen or spent. This is an update from the scam that has made so much money for them in the late 90's. As long as people keep trusting, it will keep working. BTW you can always google them.

First, just about ALL email from Nigeria comes out of the cyber rooms. They are masters of deception and creative enough to scam money and personal information from well educated people. If the job appointment came unsolicited, be very leery. Is your husband putting/posting his personal info on-line looking for work? I would suspect they are going to send him an application which will ask very personal identification info., which will put him at risk. Ask yourself, where do you have people sending emails sourcing applicants? He should be able to contact someone immediately and meet them immediately at a professional OFFICE LOCATION if is legitimate. DO NOT DO IT!

I do not think this is genuine. Has your husband applied for the job with this company? Let him write a letter to the company at the address given with the sender's name and address on the cover so that if the company is not existing, the letter will be returned to you marked "not known" and you can understand that this is fake.

Has your husband applied for a job there? Is it NLNG you are suspicious of, or your husband? Your question does not make it clear.

This nlng company can be found listed as scammer on http://www.oil-offshore-marine.com/bewarejobscams.php so I say don't do anything stupid, as you may get yourself boiled.

Be careful!

whether your husband's job is real or fake is other issue but main issue is NIGERIA is unsafe country many INDIANS are kidnapped for ransom and NIGERIA is little unsafe for foriegners and NIGERIANS have bad reputation and before going to NIGERIA please check the safety standards.

rie
I firmly believe, When in doubt, don't do it...If your husband hasn't applied for this job, then I can only assume it's a fake. How would they know his qualifications?
