need a bit more info please? Not sure what you mean by 'after the manager' either. But if someone in a position of responsibility is abusing their position, you need to write down everything, dates etc, then start a greivience proceedure. Contact your HR department for more info. |

you need to go over his head to his boss or the director of HR...but, as a management professional myself, let me warn you that you need to have more than just accusations if you want anything done about it, which means this incident may go unpunished as you make your case...but certainly is a good place to start your documentation if you don't already have any....you need to have witnesses preferably, and any documents, times, places, persons, equipment or prodcts involved and more than one thing to make a good case for favoritism and/or unethical conduct....if none of these work within your companies' management structure, then you can go to the dept of labor or the labor board for your state, but have your documentation with you or they will tell you there is nothing they can do.....and it is against federal and state laws for them to retaliate against you for doing so, but we all know that it's a hard thing to prove if they do. if this guy is playing favorites and it involves illegal conduct, such as threats, then you can also involve the local authorities, but only after some action has been taken by the company....best of luck to you if this is a legitimate concern, but don't let your personal feelings get into it...you have to have hard proof that is unbiased if you want any kind of action to be taken |
