bt have sent me a termination notice, i could of paid them, i set up direct debit to pay my bills, and forgot the dates the bills comes in anyway, i did not relise that the bank takes 30 pounds each bill, and they have taken 600 pounds out this year without me knowing it, i have my grandchildren liveing with me and i am in a state, i have offerrred to pay them 50 pounds in a letter will they take it.
I would think that if you called them & tried to work something out they may be willing to set you up on a payment plan. I'm unsure being from the USA how much you owe(pounds vs. dollars). Give it a try. The letter may also work but be sure to keep a copy of what you send them as back up in case they claim you never contacted them.

The problem isn't the phone company. It's you. Pay better attention to where you money is going!

Why do you not take notice of your bank account? You need to be more responsible with your finances. You are losing money down the drain if your payments are bounced.
You should call BT to arrange some payments but you should know what is going on with your finances.
