MY boss recently hired a manager since she is planning on being out of office frequently. The man she hired did not let his full colors show until she went on vacation( a wk after she hired him) Now that she is gone is is UNBEARABLE. He yells at people ALL the time on the phone, stomps and slams everything he can, makes rude, racist comments, swears worse than a sailor, and shows off when he truly does not know ANYTHING about our industry let alone his own office equipment.
He treats me like I am a child, when truly I am more educated than him and sends me emails saying things like "good girl". He also has an issue with women in the work place.
My boss thought it would benefit to hire someone outside of the industry but he is clueless about even typical office items (like cpus and phones). Since my boss has been on vacation I have had 9 customer complaints, something no one in my office has ever got in two years!
We can't work like this but my boss thinks he's wonderful...help... |

Dont retaliate, do nothing except compile all the paper works ie. the customers complaints, etc (the bad email/whatever emails he sent would be good too). Make sure none of the complaints directed to you, anyway. When your boss comes back, just show her the "statistic". No use wrangles with "pig", you both get dirty, but the pig loves it!
