Don is the remake of the 1978 film Don, to be directed by Farhan Akhtar. The script of the previous film was written by his father, Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan (the father of Salman Khan).
The previous film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman, Pran and Helen. The new film will star Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and Isha Koppikar. Shooting for the movie has already begun in Malaysia. The movie, to be shot 80 per cent in Malaysia, will be filmed around the tropical Langkawi island as well as the towering Petronas Twin Towers here and the Jalan Masjid India area, which is the 'little India' of Kuala Lumpur.
The film is slated for a release on October 20, 2006.
Don's music is releasing on August 23, 2006.

He looks a young boy in this character(DON).He thinks he is better than Amitabh.But he should know that no one can ever come above Amitabh.
I think he does a better role in Yash raj films all that romantic stuffs he only suits as a romantic play boy.He should not try hard roles like he has done in DON.Even I like him in suspense thriller roles such as in movie Darr,Bazigar.
But still he is one of the great actor in recent he is a tough guy.
What i really like in shah rukh is that what ever he has achieved in his life is because of his hard work he is not the one who has a history of his family with Bollywood.He has done all in step by step frm television to theatre he really deserves a status of superstar. |
