Offered work online through an email! Is it geniune?!?
I recently recieved an email from a company stating that they would like to offer me work online by becoming their representative. I checked out their website and the company does exist. However, I am a little skeptical since I hadn't contacted anyone for such a purpose, plus how did they get my email? All they are asking is for me to give my contact details. Could this be a spam? Shall I give them my details and see what happens? Afterall, I'm not getting any money outta my pockets or giving out credit card details! Your suggestions would be appreciated though. Thanks.
if you didn't contact them first, that sounds like a "phishing" email... i get fake emails like that from ebay and paypal pretty often.
they already have an email address and probably want more information so they can sell it to marketing companies who would love to spam you to death...
the email probably didn't even come from the company it says it's from, alot of times the "con artist" who sent it spoofed all the information, logos, and email address.

Don't give them the time of the day. Congrats on being skeptical.
