Does anyone know how to stop paying interest on a car loan if the car has already been reposessed. I owed about 5,000 when it was repoed, now they are going to get a judgement against me and the bill has gone up to 8000. (1000 is court costs and attorney fees, I got that.) but the 8000 is after they deducted what they sold the car for. I don't think that it is right that they can do this. Also I have to pay for their high a$$ attorneys and can not even afford one of my own. I would put it on my chapter 7 I am going to file but I have a co-signer and I do not want her to get screwed for the money, any ideas on how to get them to come down on their price without having to pay a lump sum. If I had lump sums of money the car note would not have been a problem!!!!
