Do you know these people? No! So who cares? What are they going to do, send the Email Police after you? Just delete the emails and stop whining. |

It sounds like somebody has somehow pirated your email address. Get some shareware virus erasing product, such as Spybot or Spyware Doctor, install it, run it, and then see what it removes and if your problems go away. |

Either someone is in your account and has your password so you would have to go and change your password or you have a virus that is sending emails. Do a virus scan of your computer just to be sure. Good Luck! |

Maybe someone is getting into your account? Change your password. |

Obviously someone is trying to either get back at you for something or it is identity theft. Think of someone who has your password that would do something like this and definitely change your user ID and password! Hopefully someone has some more helpful information because this is serious. |

Either one of two things:
1.You have a virus on your computer that is auto-mailing to everyone in your Outlook / Outlook express address book.
2. Someone else has a virus on their computer that is doing the same thing and spoofing the "From:" as being you, so that's very hard to figure out.
What you can do is rule out your own. You have to make sure your anti-virus definitions are up to date and do a full system scan.
Just a warning, if you try to install an anti-virus program while you still have virii on your computer, the virii may counteract the anti-virus and it won't be able to detect diddly squat.
One thing you can do if you're not sure your anti-virus is picking up the virus is go to www.sarc.com (Symantec Antivirus Research Center) and there's a link there to an online scan that will only tell you if and what virus you have on your computer. Print out the list and either use the manual tools to remove the virii or bring it to a tech who will do it for you.
They hid the free scan and I found the link for you: http://security.symantec.com/default.asp?productid=symhome&langid=ie&venid=sym
Once you have cleared your computer of virii, make sure you have a properly updated anti-virus program on your computer and BEWARE OF ATTACHMENTS FROM UNKNOWN SOURCES - - - or even from known sources if the e-mail looks fishy: only an attachment, no e-mail text or an e-mail that's not personalized or looks mechanical, etc. ... get yourself updated on the SARC site, it's pretty informative.
If it's still going on after you clear your own computer, then it's someone in your address book (option 2) and there's really not much you can do about that!!!
