i bought a rolex masterpiece watch from this guy on a auction site...i sent him the money and its been 2 months now and he has not sent me the watch...i tried to email him on yahoo and it says that the yahoo account is no longer availeable...so is there anything i can do or did i just get screwed over $57,500.00

You definitely got screwed over. :( You should try seeing what you can do through the eBay website. Or if you paid with paypal, they might also have options. More than likely, I highly doubt you'll ever see that money again.

why did u wait this long...if you purchased by paypal or credit card you can possibly get something back.....ah the dangers of internet purchases from unreliable sources.

Although I find it hard to believe someone who has $57K to 'throw around' doesn't have any money-savvy here is my answer:

1) How did you pay? If via paypal you are eligible for paypal protection. Credit card? Call your card company and tell them what is going on. Cash - You are screwed.

2) Have you contacted Yahoo? or the Auction site you purchased from? You need to do this, provide dates and proof of payment.

PS - you may want to use some of your $$$ for grammar lessons...
