Everyone has some of it except the honest hard working people. yeah others are right that large pay offs are given to bankers and CEO's etc even when they mess up or get fired. but credit has been to easy to obtain for so long now, a large part is also the plasma tv and 8 hob cooker and excessive wardrobes of the poor peoples houses, I suspect US is the same but here in UK thousands of people without the means have been able to borrow and borrow and have to many things they could never afford. For over a decade the trend of quality goes down so shareholders graphs can always point up. This recession/depression started years ago as far as i'm concerned we've just been borrowing against it thus far.

Bankers getting bonus like that are nothing but crooks anyway. What is money anyway? In the old days it was hard cash like silver and gold. Now money is nothing but electronic data and not real. It's in cyberspace and not anything physical so how can it be proved that there is real money out there? This whole society is really sucking now and we need to slow down and think what the hell we are doing.
By the way... these things happen in cycles of 10 and 20 years with the markets, this is one of them, but I don't know how deep all this will go.
