being a leader is a job of high responsibility. i dont know much about it, but still i can suggest some ways, which led me to be a good leader.
# always have faith in your team, never loose hope and confidence in them.
# listen to all the opinions that you get from your team members, but always follow what you thing will be right and good for the team.
# never bring your 'EGO' in between you and youe team.
# always try to retain unity in your team members.
# Dont be proud of being a leader and do never boast of it, in case anything goes wrong then u will b responsible 4 it.
# always b friendly 2 your fellow mates, never be a dictator.
# lay stress on everyday practice.
# plan strategies before you start a play.
# have inter team competition conducted.
# it is not always compulsory to listen to the coach and do as he says, it is u who has 2 decide what is 2 b done next bcoz u r the one who has 2 face the competition, play and win. |

Think of them as spoiled children. Give them each equally individual and group attention, praise and a sense of importance/responsibility. Reward true team work. Discourage gossip, negativity, etc. Always maintain your cool no matter how many times they push your buttons (and they will). When you must reprimand someone, be prepared with a written statement that is backed by your superior(s). Of course modern reprimands include what the employee needs to do to change the behavior that is unacceptable. Good Luck. It is unfortunate but one bad apple truly can spoil the whole bushel. |

well its only natural. people will respond and work more efficiently if they can look up to someone as a good leader, lets them know they're doing the right thing following you, makes sense yeah?
but if they mean good as in nice, that's up to you. relationships within work can cause either to better encouragement of staff, or it could lead them into a comfort level with you that is too low for efficiency.
