i asked the same question before but i'm gonna ask it again. i received an email from a company who call themselves 'The Finance Company Pty Ltd'. they said they found my resume on seek.com but i have an account on a different jobsearch site (mistake?). so yeah, i'm not sure about it. the job package sounds too good to be true. i'm pretty sure it's a scam but they haven't said anything about me sending them money or anything (apparently the training and stuff is free). so i'm not sure how they're gonna benefit. have you heard of them and what do you think about the whole thing? |

get in contact with them by phone, actually talk to one of them if they don't offer you a phone number than its a scam. don't do anything untill you talk to them. |

i am a recruiter...so i know about resumes and all the job searching stuff..and let me tell you, unless your resume is stupendous at some specific thing that not many can do...chances are you are being scammed...most of all if they didnt even get you at the right website... |

E-mail + Doubt = SCAM. Try calling and asking where you can MEET a company representative. If you can't, they don't exist. |

They can give you free training, but may have an employment contract which prevents you from leaving until your "training" is paid off.
Remember, an offer too good to be true generally is.
Why do you think a company would offer to do this, when there are so many qualified candidates? What is free is usually worth the price... |

Have they asked for ANYTHING? Your phone number, physical address, DL number, SS number, date of birth; anything like that? Get on the internet on Google or another search engine, and try to locate the company by name. Reading the description of how they have contacted you thus far makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Job search sites like Monster don't share info with other job search sites. I would be very, very wary. |
