I got caught shoplifting at Wal-Mart recently and I happen to work at a Sam's Club. Is there any chance I could get fired from Sam's Club? I did not sign any letter from Wal-Mart stating I was banned or anything so I figured my job was safe. Is my job safe or should i look for a new job?
It depends. Were you charged? If you were charged and are found guilty, you may be terminated if it is discovered just because your employer prefers not to have people who steal work there.

depends... if Walmart files a charge against you, then it will leave a bad record (criminal) that will follow you no matter where you go and this will ,make you harder to find jobs next time. If not, then it should be ok... But just don''t do this again and destroy your own future... nothing at your workplace is worth your entire future or freedom if you get charged and go to jail...

If you thought about the consquences of your actions before you decided to steal (which by the way is illegal... I'm not sure if they are allowed to teach that in the schools anymore.) you wouldn't have to worry about whether or not you were going to lose your job.

theres no way to know. you shouldn't have shoplifted. i mean come on the economy isnt THAT bad yet. im 13 and i'm smarter than that. shoplifting's for teens that have nothing better to do. thats ur stupid mistake time to grow up.
