Should I trust the tele marketer?
A company has called and offered me a free sprint phone with a plan that I would have to pay. Everything was ok until they asked for my social what should i do do I give my social and get the phone or is this a scam! They are foreign people on the phone.
SCAM!!! Never, never, never give anyone your social!! A telemarketer who represents Sprint would have no business asking you for this! No one would. This is why I do not do business over the phone with these people...you do not know who you're talking to on the other end! If it sounds like a good deal, then hang up and call the business directly (and look up the number on your own..don't trust the telemarketer to give you a phone number). At least you would be talking to someone reputable at that point and you would be in control of the conversation then. I NEVER talk to telemarketers anymore!

Anyone who comes to you to sell something is usually not a good sign. Tell them if you need a phone-You'll call them. Beware!!!

If you want a sprint phone, go to your local sprint store and sign up or the sprint website. Do not give them your info over the phone. Most cellular companies over a free phone with plan. Shop around and get the best deal.

NO! They called YOU, and you have no idea who they are. NEVER give any personal information to some who calls you if you do not know who they are. If they are foreign it's even worse. Hang up on this one right away. There are plenty of legitimate phone deals around so you do not need to give your identity to some scammer.

No way... scam.

All telemarketers are crooks.
This is obviously a scam.
Hang up and get a clue.

It sounds like a scam to me. They want your banking information and they will probably use the information to either steal from your bank accounts or they will not give you phone service after you ok this "buy". Do yourself a favor by saying no. They called you. By the way, how did they get your current phone number or email address? If you don't want sales people contacting you get on the "no call" lists from both the state where you live and the federal trade commission. Good luck!
