I bought window boxes from argos and my step dad put them up, he put the first one up and thought the screw heads were a bit small for the holes but left it as it was already up and thought it would probs be ok as it was sold from a big company, he used his own screws with bigger heads for the other ones just to be sure, i came homw today and it had fell off my wall as the heads had indeed gone thru the holes, im on the 1st floor , how bad would that have been if someone was below it (like my downstairs neighbour and her 4 month old baby).

I took it to Argos and the lad asked me if i wanted a refund, i said no as it wasnt about that it was about them being unsafe (although as i have to replace all my plants i am reconsidering this), he asked me what i did want and i said for the baskets to be taken off sale and made safe. He said he totally agreed with me and could see they werent safe the he went to see his manager who said they wouldnt take them off sale.
Additional Details
Should the manager not have took this more seriously and maybe asked head office or something instead of just saying no to me. Does someone have to be hurt before they will do something?
