Coming from a Texan, maybe the Dixie Chicks were right. Bush is an embarassment.
Don't forget the bail out of American Airlines. Now all you get on those flights are bad service and nothing but complaining from the workers. Uhhmm, last I checked my tax dollars helped them out!
I hate to say this but, the lenders, the home owners, the financial leaders and whomever else made the bad decisions to enter into their situations should be held accountable. The bell tolls. I had an ARM once, and I refinanced before it was due. What's the problem with people these days? There is a lack of accountability in our society today. I see it in my teenager. Times are changing.
I actually went back to an old way of doing transactions, I use cash or my checking account debit card. No money in my wallet or in my account and I don't buy it. Worked for my parents and it works for me. No money, no purchase. Bye, bye credit cards.
The only ones I feel for are those poor soldiers and their families. Fighting and dying in a war that long ago lost its initiative. |

This new economic stimulus program produced and directed by President George Walker Bush, is yet another attempt to resolve our faltering deficit. This, of course, was created by majorly the War in Iraq. While Osama Bin Laden still CAN'T be found, the unnecessary Iraq War continues. We have lost over 4,300 of our people in the Coalition of countries that joined us, the citizens of Iraq and, of course, our American men and women. Some of these people were mere children of 30 years of age and younger. This is disgraceful. When will it stop? On this one, I think "Dubya" may be on point. He is actually asking Congress to put forward the monies to satisfy the needs of our American people. This will touch our private and public business entities. Quite naturally, the money will come from the tax coffers as well. Peace!!!! |

I agree! Let the banks fail, let the investment firms fail! the investors made a mistake investing with the failed firm.
The losers will be the trade unions that placed retirement funds into the investent and EVERYONE knows that big business HATES trade unions.
People that made bad mistakes when they bought a house need to move out and buy something that can afford - a cardboard box. |
