Somebody recently told me that GM owns 30% of Toyota. This doesn't sound right to me. Any truth to this?
Any links to your findings would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think so. No proof to back it up, but GM is about to get overtaken as the number 1 by Toyota. If anything, Toyota may have considered a 30% stake in GM to keep them afloat.

They had a partnership to share technology. I know for a fact that some GM cars were built with Toyota parts.
