Starbucks...?
I am a 19 year old girl and am interested in working for Starbucks. I've worked in customer service before so I was wondering if it's a great job?

I started working at Starbucks when I was 19. Five years later I am still with the company, and it is the best job I have ever said. Regardless of the views some have about Starbuck such as “it's a corporation and they don't care about you,” let me tell you what they do for their employees.

You can receive full medical, dental, and vision coverage if you just work an average of 20hours a week. You are granted stock options, availability of employee investment programs and others.

I have worked all through undergrad and now grad school. Starbucks is flexible with scheduling and can work around most availability.

Like with most other companies the work place can have drama, and there is some dram at starbucks but nothing out of the ordinary.

Bottom line it is a great company to work for...

Good luck‼

Starbucks is like the Wal-mart of the coffee industry. Why not find a nice local coffee place instead. Stay away from Charbucks!

I have always heard that they treat their employees very well and have low turnover. But amid the competition and loss of business to the likes of cheaper coffee sellers, I would look for another employer.

They're a corporation, you're only a number.

Starbucks is an amazing company! They offer benefits for all of their employees and I know there is a tuition reembursement program as well (check the details)! The story of how the company started is amazing! I think that you should definitely become part of their team. They are amazing
