I was a cashier for awhile but I actually didn't mind getting 100$ bills because sometimes, banks give you 100s out of the atm. The only time I was rude was once when a man bought a tiny container of milk at 0.54$ with a 100$ bill. He was so rude to me when I gave him 19 5$ bills which is what pissed me off. Dude, at 7am, no cashier has any 20s! |

Use a freakin' Visa and then you have no problem. $100 bills are a pain in the *** especially when you first open and people expect you to give them $97.98 worth of change on a cup of coffee. No one wants $100 bills except people who actually don't have money and when they do have money, they want to show it off like "how kickass am i?". |

It's wrong to say "Starbucks Employees" that's not fair because now you are labeling all Starbucks employees as disrespectful because of one employee. You just had a bad customer service moment, get over it. |

Seriously, what do you want/exepect to happen? People are going to be rude in life. Would it make you feel better if they issued you a letter of apology? Fired the employee? Paid you and your grandmother? There comes a time when you have to wonder "Is this worth my time and energy"? |

Go talk to that person's manager and let he/she know that their employee is rude. |

Well, first of all, it was rude of them to behave this way, second of all, do not take $100 to a business and expect them to make change. It probably took everything out of their register, as most businesses open with $100 in their till. There was no politeness on either side as far as I am concerned. |

google the information for a customer service number, unless its a franchise, but the store should have a customer service number posted on the door, you could also as to see the manger, and discuss the employees attitude, and yes, emails are ineffective, face to face complaints are much better at producing results. |

I've mostly found polite employees. I think it is this specific individual you want to get back at, not Starbucks, right? Make several complaints over a period of time on him using different emails. That will bring him unwanted attention. |

Just forget the whole thing. Having been a restaurant manager it is my experience that a large percentage of customers -- especially those who complain -- are asswipes. At every place I ever worked, we would get occasional complaints from customers who felt that we just hadn't licked their butts nearly enough. Those calls are always fielded politely and as though we had a genuine concern for the complaint, but then are shared with the employees who all get a good laugh at the customer's expense immediately thereafter.
And if I had a nickle for every customer who was going to "have my job" I would be a very wealthy man today. |

Who pays a coffee with a $100.00 USD a bill?
Your grandmother is lucky she was not beaten by a crazy employee.
I strongly suggest you to give away to your grandmother $50.00, $20.00, $10.00, $5.00, $2.00 and $1.00 bills. (At least one of each) and ask her for a few $100 Bills and change them on your nearest bank.
Also buy her a $500.00 Visa Debit Card and she can pay a lot of coffee with that thing.
Customers drinking too much coffee could see her and beat her too.
Starbucks can be a very dangerous place. Specially after white collar worker is fired and he is having his last coffee in a while there. |
