Starbucks not a military friendly company?
I heard rumor that Starbucks does not support the war or anybody who serves in it. I was wondering how much truth is behind this? Anybody else heard this or have any sources?
Additional Details
I don't have anything against Starbucks, I like it actually. I was just wondering. Thanks to the third answerer for the link! Very helpful, and I'm glad to know that they support men and women in uniform.

star bucks i an industry that started out with next to nothing. it's a business, private at that, that serves the general public. it is not a political toy to be tampered with for fun.

Rumors abound. And get embellished more with each passing. The answer is no.

Another example, when Pres Reagan wanted to include Social Security payments as taxable income for retirees earning over $200,000 a year, a lot of old fogies panicked because they only heard the part about taxing Social Security payments.

I've not heard that but I don't support the war either. It's against my relegion. Plus, it's wrong in every way, shape and form.

If Starbucks is really like that, go Starbucks! :D

Haven't heard anything. I know that Subway has run anti-American ads in Europe. It wouldn't surprise me if Starbucks didn't support our cause. I'm so sick of hearing of someone new every day who doesn't support the war. We're winning. America is being protected. All of these anti-war people and companies need a flashback to 9-11 and the sentiments related to it. Any company that announces that they are anti-war should have a boycott placed on them by anyone who cares.
