its worth a shot. and if they dont want to give you the difference, tell them then you are going to just return it, get back the money you paid, and then just repurchase it at the sales price.
lots of people were doing this before chirstmas so many stores just started honoring the price difference instead of dealing with the hassle. target is pretty fair, i dont think you'd have a problem with it
