I love Target.
1. It is less crowded.
2. The prices are comparable.
3. The staff is typically more intelligent or better trained.
4. They stick to what they do and that is being a department store. (Wal-Mart is into gas, banking, everything)
5. They have better benefits for their employees.
6. They are more involved in the community.
7. Stuff is easier to find.
8. Red is cooler than blue.
9. I just don't like Wal-Mart. |

Target has better quality goods, about the same prices, and a MUCH better return policy for when something doesn't work, or you just change your mind. |

That's not quite the way I look at it... LOL I choose Target because it is cleaner and the clientele is a little higher class. Wally World is dirty, crazy and has a lot of rednecks running around in it... That is what he!! will be like! |

target. flat out they have better sh!t. i would never buy clothes from wal mart but target actually has some good sh!t. wal mart is really kinda gross. i dont go there. i always feel like im being watched there. |

Walmart because they have low prices and they always have gone by the catch phrase always low prices always" and besides i been going to walmart for years. and Walmart has so much to offer like eating cafe in the store and so much more.and they are known around the globe. and there are walmarts across this world. |

Target. I find the shopping "experience" to be much nicer. I get stressed out trying to dodge all the people who stop in the middle of the already narrow aisles at Walmart. |

Whichever ones I've been in, Target was always cleaner and tidier, Wal-Mart was always a dirty mess. Needless to say, I prefer Target. |

I would say Target because it's clean and Walmart..although cheaper can tend to be cluttery. Also, Target has better quality items. When I want to shop for things like lotion and tooth paste, soup and cereal..I go to Walmart...if I want to pick up a cute outfit, new pair of shoes...or a new cheap camera..I go to Target...so basically it all depends on what you are shopping for. But I perfer Target over Walmart |

Target is clean and provides fast service.
Wal-Mart is slightly cheaper, has a larger selection, is messy, and has bad service.
I used to work at Target as a regular employee and then manager. They treat their employees like dirt, and we were expected to get everything and more done- but nothing was ever good enough. Also, promotion to executive was basically impossible. Being a manager was like being a regular employee because it was really the executive that made the decisions.

I actually Like Walmart.. They have more stuff than Target if your looking for variety and there cheaper.. I Would shop for furniture and clothes ( if had to) at Target but Im more about saving the all- mighty dollar. No matter which company is do what. |

Well, my preference is for sure Walmart!!! Reason I say this is because about 4 years ago I learned that Target does not support our troops overseas, so therefore I don't and also recommend to anyone else that we don't support Target! |

Wal-Mart, they have everything for lower prices. And you can't beat that when living on your own. Plus, like the other person before me, I used to work at Target. They have extremely high demands on their employees and they pester the customers constantly with "Can I help you find something?" It gets pretty annoying, even more so when you have to do it. |
