Chicago, IL. reg $2.65 mid-grade $2.75 premium $2.89-just went up .20c in last 2 weeks. This is ridiculous. I think it needs to be lowered but as consumers we don't stick together enough to fight the big guys, so they get away with playing the nickel and dime consumer games. |

small town "olney" Illinois low grade unleaded $2.45 per gallon as of 3/10/07. Nice idea though. but we'd have a better chance of finding Elvis or Jimmy Hoffa than them cutting prices. I figure by prices going up this early we're looking for sure $5.00 a gal if there's a hurricane in the gulf this year. And @ the very least during peak driving time this summer $4.25 |

I live 50 miles north of Amarillo texas way up in the texas panhandle. the town i live in only has about 14,000 people so its small. we have a refinery here that makes gas. and its sky high here still. gas prices have been between $2.47 and $2.49 a gallon here. depending on what gas station you go to. this is crazy and ii hope it stops soon. but the big wigs in the oil and gas industries just keep getting richer. while the rest of us keep getting poorer. |
