The unaprochable supervisor, the lazy co-worker, the complaining co-worker, the lack of training, harassment, discrimination, the desire to move up in the chain of command unsuccessfully, low pay rate, the constant change of demands and how they are exicuted, a situation that was badly handled. |

Speaking from years of personal experience, the one thing that always made me the most miserable was the lack of any positive reinforcement. If I did 5,000 things, and did 4,999 of them right and got 1 wrong, you could bet your bottom dollar that it was the 1 incorrect thing that was always pointed out to me.
Second worst? Supervisors & upper management who will go to the first person they see and demand an answer, rather than ask a question or find the correct person for the task.
I guess what it really boils down to is lack of respect. All people wish to be treated with some measure of respect, both by their co-workers and their supervisors alike. |

Lack of direction, lack of work, uncertainty, lack of approval, back-stabbing.....this list goes on and on and on. |

Corporate greed. Forsaking everything else for the sake of profit will ultimately make a negative environment because it always goes hand-in-hand with being over-worked, under-compensated, under-staffed, ineffectively managed, and short-sighted business practices. |
