I have always said that if you work hard for your money then you deserve the rewards but unfortunately many high profile business men have got there by ruthless means and many by illegal means not caring who they trample on the way.
At least some of the 40% Tax that these guys will pay should go towards helping the job seekers with the allowance. |

No it's not fair why should the two successful business men pay taxes to keep losers on the dole....get a job there are loads available....look at the Poles they'll do virtually anything for employment and a better life, that's why loads of them keep coming over your do our " unemployed " jobs. |

The business men are smart and savvy and hardworking.
Why should lazy workshy dole-ites get ANYthing?!
If the unemployed would get off their arses and do something about their situation, instead of bitching about people being better off than them, maybe THEY would catch a break, and get lucky in business.
People moaning about how bad their lives are, and whining about people who are better off, make me sick! |

The business men have worked hard to achieve success.
They will have to pay loads of tax on their profits to the Government.

Well if they're unemployed it will give them the incentive to get out to work. I'm sick of paying taxes so that people can sit on their lazy arses and do nothin, i was unemployed for 6 weeks and i went to get jobseekers and they dragged they're heels about it and i didn't get a single penny, after i had been working and paying taxes!! |

I take it you are one of the unemployed. If you were one of the two who had the £140m = £120m which would be £12 each for 10m people which is £1 per month for a year or 23p per week for a year. If you got 23p per week of a rise in your unemployment benefit you would class it an insult! No pleasing some people. |

Tempory un-employment due to redundancy or illness is unfortunate and the state needs to be there with a safety net to help - but that is not, and should not be a long term solution.
these two people used experience and skill and risk (they could have LOST a lot of money too) to make money - that is called having bottle - as others have said enough imigrants come into the country and are happy to work for min wage (or more) the majority of the unemployed are unemployable becasue they have totally the wrong attitude to work. There is work if people can be bothered. - maybe the dole gives too much so the insentive is not there |
