eaney meaney miney moe.....
I would have to go with the USPS.
i live in a small town and the us postmaster in my town goes above and beyond ....on Christmas day she call all the people who got packages and tells them that if they come get them they can have them today.
they just work Xmas for an hour or two checking in the dawn delivery.
I have been called twice in the last decade and I think this is a very special and caring thing to do.
I have never had a problem with any of the delivery services and I would go for convenience of use first and cost second. unless my package was very heavy then I would pick the cheapest |

I always use the USPS. I find it to be the most reliable and reasonably priced. |

i prefer usps because its the cheapest. fedex is the best though if your willing to spend more money. ups is the worst because they don't get a signature half the time,( and they are inconsistent about it, one time they will get a signature, next time they will leave it under the rug) and will cause companies a lot of credit card chargebacks for items not received. on top of that they charge to see the actual signature of someone who got the package (fedex has is online for free). ups if you ask me is no better than usps. |

USPS if I want to save money and can replace the item(s) sent.

If you are in NO hurry, the post office can save you a ton of money. My second choice is UPS. |

DHL for small express items.
DHL Global Forwarding for heavy stuff. |

I LOVE UPS.
I've been screwed over time-and-time-again by the USPS. I've had packages lost, packaged delivered incorrectly, insured packaged damaged and not replaced... the list goes on and on. Maybe I'm just unlucky or something... but unless it's basic snail mail, I try not to use the USPS.
But the #1 reason I prefer UPS over the USPS....
Tracking numbers.
The USPS is notorious for not updating their tracking numbers so that you can track your package online. I received a packaged yesterday (I do a lot of eBaying) that was still listed as, "Shipping Info Received."
...That's the first step in the process... and I was holding it in my hands.
2 days ago I shipped some computer stuff to a guy in WI. I sent him the tracking number from my receipt and he emails me back later that day saying that the number doesn't exist... that I must've given it to him wrong.
So I go online and check... sure enough... not there. So I scanned the receipt and sent it to him
This tracking number issue is so annoying. So if you want to make sure your package gets there... go UPS. |
