An only caviet... You can sign a release to leave the package and they'lll honor your request EXCEPT, when the shipper specifies "adult signature required," they will NOT leave the package no matter what you tell them.

how about calling them up? On the tag they leave saying where they left the package, it has a phone number.

not on their website.....when i am expecting a package, i have it delivered to my office.....
if i have to have it delivered to my house, and no one can be there, i tape a note to the door with instructions on what to do with the package, and what to do with the note....

The best way to give UPS Instructions, is to leave a Note on your door.
Okay...
Say you was not Home, you had to go somewhere real fast.
But you new that the UPS Man was coming that day.
That is when you leave a Note on the door, saying that you would like it to be sent to a Neighbors house.
But if the UPS Man keeps sending it to your Neighbors house, then have your Neighbor tell him to start taking it over to your house.
You should still be able to do the same thing with FedEx.
But, FedEx is Bad.
They throw thing's at peoples doors.
UPS would be the best place to choose to bring your stuff.
