Analia C | UPS delivered my package to someone else? |
I bought a present to a friend of mine via Amazon.com and had it shipped to her. I called her today and asked her how she liked her present, she told me she never received it. I looked at the tracking number that I received and it said it was delivered and signed by someone called Brandon. I am freaking out because I don't know this person neither does her. And, my billing information was in the package and whoever this person is might have it. I am freaking out. I e-mailed UPS I don't know if I should call American Express and cancel the card. I don't know what to do - Has anyone ever encountered this issue?! |

Ok, first stay calm and think this out. First of all, Brandon sounds like a first name, not a last which is unusual. UPS requires a last name for signatures.
Does your friend live in an apartment? If so, it was probably delivered to a neighbor who signed for it. You should call 1-800-PICK-UPS and give them the tracking number. They can tell you on the phone if it was delivered to an alternate address. If it wasnt, they will issue a follow up to the driver who delivered it. He will probably remember where and sort the whole problem out.

You need to call UPS and talk to them about this situation. I had this happen before, and it's a pain in the ***. All you can do is get your money back and have to order it again. I personally don't really like getting things shipped by UPS because they make many mistakes like this, and kept saying we got it. Well if I got the order I wouldn't be on the phone saying I didn't, ya know?Also call your card company and tell them about this situation. Hopefully you don't have to deal with all the frustration, good luck though! |
