I ordered a backpack with 1 day shipping (really urgent) and put in the correct address since i use amazon and it saves my address all the times so it cant be wrong, and i checked the status today it says that the backpack has been delivered at noon, and signed by a person who totally not me, the person who signed for the package is NGUYEN, while my family has NO ONE with that name or last name. So can i complain to UPS now? because i really need that backpack it was urgent.

Call Amazon immediately. Go into the customer service screen and choose the "phone" option. You enter your phone number and someone will call you within seconds. Explain what happened. Amazon will likely ship another backpack to you immediately and then investigate the error in the delivery of the other one.
Amazon is terrific about resolving these types of issues so call them now. |

1-800-pickups is the number. When they answer you will get a voice menu, but hit 0 (zero) about 20 times in a row and they will forward you to an operator without wading through all the menus. Give them your tracking number and tell them your problem. They will probably attempt tp pick up your package if possible, but if they delivered it wrong they are responsible. |

Call UPS and alert them. Call your seller from Amazon it won't hurt to confirm your shipping address and to get them to put a trace on it. Also as an Amazon seller I am obligated the buyer until it reaches them. Don't panic, you may not get it on time but you will definitely get it and if nothing else get your money back. |

UPS did the same thing to me. Someone in the local office was not able to get their computer to verify my street address, so they changed it to another street. The person at that street located me somehow and brought the package over to me in his car. This was at a time when I was receiving packages from UPS a few times a week. I started to use UPS in the beginning of my ebay biz but quickly learned that their Ground service is very slow, 7 to 8 days. I switched to Fedex Ground and started getting positives in my ebay feedbacks for the fast shipping. I will NEVER recommend or use UPS again. Their Ground is always more expensive and much slower than Fedex Ground. Never even a hiccup with Fedex in 6 years. |
