I ordered a SideKick LX on Friday, and it got shipped out the same day. I live in Maine. I ordered 2nd day shipping. Should it be here Monday? Right now it's in CHELMSFORD,
MA. Mass is right under Maine. But yeah. Anyone who works for UPS, or has any ideas?

No, UPS does not ship or deliver on Saturdays or holidays. Your package's tracking information probably shows that the package arrived in Chelmsford, Mass., early Saturday morning. It will probably sit there until tonight (Monday) and then go to your nearest service center early Tuesday the morning and then go out for delivery.
I ordered a package on Oct. 19 (Friday) from Amazon.com using UPS's next day shipping. UPS picked the package up that day in Arizona, and then sent it to Kentucky, New Hampshire, and Chelmsford on Oct. 20 (Saturday). The package then sat in Chelmsford until the next night and arrived that Monday.
So to recap, next day air service package sent on a Friday and delivered the following Monday.
Ground service processing is much slower, as packages aren't high priority.
Of course, I don't know why you're asking us when the tracking information shows the estimated delivery date. Only once have I received a package from UPS a day earlier than the estimated allowed, and that was during the holiday rush.

If you go to the UPS site and type in both zip codes as if you wanted to ship and use the date of shipment as the same as the company that shipped to you, you might be able to figure it out. |

Being that close, you may get it Monday, but it really isn't due till Tuesday. If you have a tracking number, you can track it on www.UPS.com.
**edit**
UPS works on Veteran's Day. They are only closed 7 holidays a year. They do deliver on Saturdays if your shipper chooses Saturday delivery service, other than that, they deliver Monday-Friday except the 7 holidays they close for. |
