You already talked about the one-stop-shop and price factors. They seem to be everywhere. I guess accessibility would be a positive. They also have a pretty lenient return policy, unlike Target which only lets you return one thing a year without a receipt. |

if you work there you get a discount card. but i can't really think of anything nice to say about wal-mart. they always have pictures of missing kids on there walls and it seems they honor soldiers quite abit. |

ok, i dont personally hate walmart although i dont agree with their business ethics. i did a couple reports on it so maybe i can help you out. Urm, oh and theres a walmart documentary out there you should watch, forgot what it was called tho, sry. Anywho, Walmart is considered bad bc since all those items are under one roof, you see, it puts small mom and pop shops out of business bc they just dont have the means to compete. walmart is huge and therefore has incredable buying power. they go to the suppliers they have and haggle prices w/ them like crazy, say the comapny wants to sell for $2, that goes to the costs of making the product and the rest is profit. then walmart decides to pay only $.75 for it bc they're walmart and they're so powerful they can do that, if the company says no then walmart decides not to do business with them and then what is that company to do if walmart is the only store around bc all the mom and pop shops died off. (deal with me its a crazy chain of events here) anywho, so the company says yes but bc they have no choice and to recoup lost profits, they build their factories in china! that means, millions and millions of jobs in the US are lost and sent to little children in china! which they nearly work to death for like a nickel an hour! ok, well besides that walmart negatively affects our economy it also pays its employees crap, if fact there are statement to prove that walmart pays their employee incredibly low amounts of money and then after that gives them forms so they can get the rest of the money they need form the government! that means some of our tax dollars are going to pay for walmarts employees. so in the end you're not really saving money, you're losing it! ok, well i can go on and on but i wont. this isnt all, if you need more info just email me... |

When Sam Walton started Wal-Mart Inc. he said he would only sell American made products when he could. After he died, and the brain dead took over, they replaced everything with foreign products. If and when we get a Federal incentive check, people will run to Wal-Mart to spent it and boost another country's economy. When Wal-Mart moves into an area it drives most of the small business' out of the area. These are the small business' that made our country great.
Wal-Mart does employ a great number of people, at minimum wage, and part time with no benefits, not a job I would want. |

They do hire alot of people .Also they give to local charitys like the girl scouts etc.And not that everything is but they try to buy american made. Other then Ive got nothing Good luck :) |

the corporation itself donate a lot of money i believe can't quote me on this, that they donate 1 million dollars between the Red Cross and the Salvation Army to help at Katrina. |
