WALMART EXCHANGE HELP.PLEAZ READ?
About ten mins ago. I opened up my new Spiderman 3 dvd from the plastic.I just boought it from WALMART 3wks ago on Black Friday..and when I opened it THERE WAS NO DVD INSIDE...i have no idea how there wasnt a dvd inside.bc the plastic wasnt tampered with.but I did notic that the security sticker had a cut in it.as if someone opened it...Now ive search high and low and cant find my receipt ..Do you think that walmart will exchange my dvd for another with the dvd inside of it..THanks

Walmart takes everything back. Just explain your situation. If they refuse ask to speak with their supervisor, and if they say no, ask for his manager. Be Polite, but be firm. They will probably give you in store credit or exchange it. But they will want to keep you, the customer, happy. Best of luck! :)

I was a manager at Wal-Mart for awhile, and there's a secret to getting any exchange - simply complain to the store manager and warn him/her that you'll go to the district manager if the issue's not resolved. They'll usually be willing to settle with the exchange instead of risking trouble with their district manager.

im not really sure. that's a strange situation, to me at least. I know their policy on exchanging movies that dont work is that they will not give money back but they will give a new dvd. They cant give money back because people were buying them and recording them and returning them so they have to even open the new one they give. I would give it a try. They will respond the same with or without the receipt...it all depends on weather they believe you. what someone did was remove and steal the dvd and didn't take the case because they put multiple alarm things in them sometimes but not on the actual dvd. Good luck I hope they believe you.

It is going to be hard. Did you pay by charge? If so, the charge company can send you a copy of your charge receipt. If you paid by check, Wal-Mart would have returned your check to you when they electronically debited the money from your account.
Next, you need to nicely explain your problem to the Customer Service Department. If they don't believe you, ask to speak to the Department Manager, or go and see the Department Manager first. Maybe they have had this problem before. All you can do is ask and explain what happened. You might try saying, that you certainly wouldn't lie to them. Sometimes that helps. Good luck.
