It depends if they have any openings right now or not. If they have an opening, expect a call within a week. But keep in mind they may not have an opening at the moment but may keep your application on file and call you a month or two later.

Depends. If you don't hear from them within a week of applying, I would call and ask about the status of the application. That shows you're interested in the job :)

I will probably call them instead many companies dont ussually call. If you are interested you call and let them know that you would like to know if they got your aplication remember that waltmart is huge and tons of people aply for a job you might not be the one they pick to call so I would call my self instead

They are all different. I fthey need help bad they may call you right away. If oyu don't hear from them in a few days then call them and say you are just wanting to check on the status of your application you turned in. That way they know you are really interested.

Well some stores are very slow about calling people in, if at all. They can only hire a certain number at a time...but if they're desperate you'll be in their right away.
My other advice: Don't work at Wal-mart.

within a week you should definitely hear something but it usually only takes about 3 or 4 days
