i hate wal-mart.....they don't even let their employees take bathroom breaks and they make you show an ID when you exchange something even when you have your receipt....it's like they try to make everything a pain in the *** for everyone on purpose and their crap sucks anyway.... |

It's great for consumers. The prices are very low.
It's not good for anyone who works there. The wages and the benefits aren't that good. Wal-Mart is lowering wages paid to retail employees all over the world.

It is great! Since Walmart opened two new stores in my town everybody has benefited. Those that have limited income go there and get products which are good, but perhaps not the best, but with limited saleshelp. Those that have more funds go to the local small clothing, hardware, electronics, toy stores. The locals provide a wider range of products, many of higher quality, and very helpful saleshelp, but at a higher prices. The local stores have done even better since Walmart came to town. So, at least, in my town, it has been a win-win for everybody. |
