It is more practical to be of an age when you can drive yourself and have a solid education foundation behind you.

I think you have to be seven and work in China to assemble their products but on a retail level, it depends on the shifts they hire for and the position you apply for. Why not call them??? If you are still in high school, talk to your school's counselor because you will need a work permit anyway and they might have lists of employers who are looking for student help.
