My dad is an executive for wal-mart. He makes millions and we are very well off. Now i am only 22 and over the years i hear nothing but bad thing's about wal-mart anymore, we just recently had protesters outside of our house LOL. I was like uhhhh dad, who the hell are these people. They were protesting about everything bad, one threw a rock at our bently lol, hit it to lol. I've always had trouble growing up getting picked on cuz my dads wealth, but now we have people coming to complain at our house, thank god we have a gate. The sad thing is my dad told me that the president Lee Scott made all executives high up enough in ranks of course get gates for their house because of things like this. I have a few questions now. Why do people hate wal-mart so bad?? Cuz they knock out small businesses, lol thats called business.. Why are protesters coming to my house and throwing rocks at our expensive cars?? Is it jealousy?? Thirdly i will be an executive there when i get out of college so i am curious to know how can we make people happier to avoid this nonsense?? Would you guys like me to say anything to my dad?? If you wanna call and complain all you will get is their secretaries so no point, i can actually give a message to my dad from you the american people. Let me know, thank you. P.s. My dad is right under the president so if you have anything that sounds good and could change the company i will tell him he controls a lot of that company.

you could tell him to pay the people a little more so normal people will get jobs there. not the rude, arrogant, uneducated, rude goof balls that work there. they treat you like you are inconviencing them because they have to stop their conversation and ring up your purchases.
Then again, maybe that is just the wal-mart that I live near ( but they should be monitored for poor service ) because I went to one paticular wal-mart, out of the state, a lot and everyone has been courteous and helpful, everytime I go there.
Go in the wal-mart near my home once and you won't want to go back.
that's what you can tell him, monitor for these buttheads, and hire new managers when the workers fail a secret inspection. |

I dont know how much truth there is to your story. If your in college, your english and writing is terrible... and your expecting to just slide in an executive position..... interesting.... I am an English graduate and if I make mistakes its only because I am typing fast.... you on the other hand talk really young and make serious grammatical errors. I think your bull crapping us. |

What do I think?
Obviously having money doesn't necessarily mean you have very good writing skills, that's for sure.
If you don't know why people have issues with Walmart, maybe ask your dad, or keep checking the news, maybe even ask some of the employees.
Only just recently over the Christmas season. A generous man with the holiday spirit, decided to buy Walmart gift cards to randomly give out to people. Walmart officials told him to stop and be on his way.

I do like Walmart. However, if you do your research you will find a lot of scandalous things that has been done by the leaders in the Corporation. Many people find these things unacceptable and do things like protest, rock throwing, etc.
When it comes to small businesses - some people base their whole lives off of their small business and I think it's a shame that people in the big businesses don't care that their actions are knocking them out. Yes it is called business but some of these people aren't in business to drive a Bentley. They're in it to support their families and put their kids through college. So it isn't Walmart that these people hate, it's the attitudes that the people high up in Walmart have.
Yes some people are jealous and they shouldn't let their jealousy over take them. Jealous will get your no where, fast. This is why I learned to put away jealousy in my life, and I think I'm a lot better off. |

Wal-mart isnt evil. People complain 'oh its made in china, that doesnt help our economy!' well, news flash; Just about everything in the us is made somewhere else!!! It doesnt matter if you get it from wal-mart or some other store, if its a brand name, its gonna come from the same place!!! Not to mention they set up their own (or partnered with im not sure) missing children program! Stores donate money to local causes or schools. I dont see whats wrong with wal-mart. I like it, i shop at one. And people that complain about putting other stores out of business, i really hoped they always went to the small business store to get they're stuff, and never got anything a wal-mart. Otherwise they're hypocrites. If wal-mart is evil, so is every other chain company.
Yeah im not a walmart fan, i just looked this up to argue with my health teacher over it, cause she keeps trying to impress her views onto us, and if we believe different, then those ppl are the spawn of the devil in her eyes. And i really hate her! |
