Target has such shiny polished floors that I usually get a headache from the glare. They are cleaner, but the prices are better at Walmart for the most part and there are two Walmarts in my town, one is very near to my home.

On the one hand, a giant 'big box' corporation is what it is.

On the other hand, Target appears to have a greater social conscience.

I took a business strategy course where we did a case on Wal-Mart, and after reading fairly neutral (if anything, there was a pro-corporate bias, because it was business school) data and analysis, the class of 30+ was asked who would be willing to work for Wal-Mart.

One person raised their hand.

I like Wal-Mart better in general. The ones where I've lived have been nice. After doing my own research, with the help of the internet and consumer reports, Wal-Mart had better quality tvs and dvd players at lower prices than what Target was selling the junky brands.

Now if I'm buying home decor items, I choose Target over Wal-Mart. They are a little bit trendier in that department. The Target here isn't much cleaner than the Wal-Mart, which is surprising because every time I go in there, there aren't many other shoppers. Target feels like a ghost town compared to shopping at Wal-Mart.

Ive noticed when Walmart has a sale EVERY F*CKEN PERSON in town is there. Target is LESS crowded and they have the SAME stuff almost at the SAME PRICE.

The Aisles at Target are LARGER and the ones at Wal-mart are narrow.

The bathrooms at Wal-Mart have Sanitary issues unlike the ones at Target [Theyre CLEAN]

Target has more STYLE in how they present theyre products and Wal-mart DOES NOT.

The Parking Lot at ALL Targets are larger and so its easier to find a parking space FASTER.

AND i just love the Target Dog. Hehe
Winner: Target=D

TARGET! My Mecca!
Walmart is gross, unorganized, crowded, creepy staff at times and all the products are CHEAP (quality)!
Target-
wonderful, well organized, clean, friendly staff, wonderful products. And LOTS OF RED! I can just wander thru Target and be in a wonderful mood.
I NEVER shop at Walmart. Been 8 yrs...had a bad incident there and have sworn off the walmart FOREVER!
