i fired my janitor because he left a big dump in the toilet and i had customers walk in and were totally appauled i know it was an accident on his part but hey it was just nasty and i cant afford to lose customers |

Unless there was a board placed by Janitor that he is working, he is not supposed to leave it uncleaned. So there was something that is messy - dont feel bad, You did the right thing.
You anyway did the right thing - irrespective of you afford to loose or keep the customers. |

I bet there's more to this story...he has probably forgotten other responsibilities or similar.....if he was an awesome employee, and this was a one off...you probably wouldn't have fired him...good help is after all hard to find.... |
