Get another job young lady.
I work in IT and have no knowledge of computers whatsoever and in a 12 hour shift do about 2 hours work, for which I simply follow the instructions in a manual.
Bizarre, but true.
And the best bit?
I'm so good at it I was given a promotion today (well, last night as I work nights).
Took me 20 years to find this job, I'm 36 now, but fcuk it was worth the wait. |

Do something productive, even if you don't have any of your own work to do, that shouldn't stop you from doing other things related to your job that could help you become more efficient at your job. If you are doing something company related, and you are busy doing it (even if it isn't exactly in your scope of work), you will appear busy at work. |
