What's the difference between a business day and a regular day?

Business day is the days the business is open (for example, Mon thru Frid from 8am - 5pm) They also don't count holidays because they aren't open for business. Some are Sun - Thurs, etc. Regular day is 24 hours!

Grandma of 2
A business day is considered 9 to 5 Monday through Friday. A regular day would be the weekends included with the weekends. If someone said 2-3 business days they would be counting only the Monday thru Friday days, skipping the weekends. 2-3 days would be the weekdays, including the weekends.

working business day is anyday between Monday thru Friday --
Regular day includes all 7 days of week.

For Example -- if a business tells you a shipment will arrive in 5-10 business days -- it means that the shipment will arrive in no less than a week and no more than 2 weeks. 5 business days being Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Saturday and Sunday are not considered Business Days.

as far as i know, a business day is considered to be monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, and friday. saturday and sunday are not considered to be business days.
