Wal-Mart's biggest problems come from it's scale. Every time the company makes any move, no matter how small, it effects many people, entire industries and international markets.
They aren't breaking the law by giving people what they want, but they are capable of shaping macro and micro economies by their business practices.
You don't have to like them, but I would really caution against the temptation to throw government regulations around only them because they're an easy target.

Well if you mean Walmart, Think about all the items that you buy, and the price you paid for it. Walmart has lower many prices so that many can afford. Whether the quality is as good, that's a different question.
