mels right i`ve been in 3 different unions all they do is take your money and leave you hanging if you need them, my experience is their all talk and no action their supposed to look out for your workers rights to make sure you get a fair deal, but sadly their just another hand in your pocket |

To establish a group that works together for wages ,benefits and job protection. During the last 40 years we have become more of a global market. Unions are not usually global. The day of unions are almost over. The intent was good and they did some good things in the past. But if the market is global and we
pay x worker here 80k per a year here and 5k a year for there,and 5k per year with far less benefits. Do the math we will no longer make the products here. |

labor union are either advantageous or disadvantageous... its an advantage to the employees... they look for the welfare of its members in terms of salary, longitivity and working environment while it is a disadvantage to the employer.. bcuz they partly control (i said partly) the decisions made by higher management. |

unions are for the employees they work for you and they keep companies in line , if your in one you are lucky they are a lot of help to employee of big company ,Fred's warehouse was unionized about 2 years ago but it was not for the workers in the stores i wish it was i would most likely still have my job so if asked say yes yes my dad was in one for 16 years and he retired at that job he would tell you the same hell yes for to live in a at will state like Tennessee you are trash to most companies any way here. union hell yes |
