What are the advantages of working for a small company?
i see more of disadvantages than disadvantages ..working with a small company....
as most of the small companies are conservative...they dont pay u much...they don't employ more people so...u need to do lots of additional work (like in big companies ull have office assistant...who work for all the workers..like for eg to get the photo copies of a document...etc) getting a leave is difficult as nobody else will do ur job..
as it is a small company it doesn't have a good reputation in the market.
it doesnt spend much on advertising so..people hardly know it...no brand value...
as there will be no brand value...even if u have to jump the company...and wanna join another company..its difficult and even if u wanna go...ull have to compromise on things like pay, position etc.....

If you work for a large company and can think of a better way, here's what happens. You have to discuss it with your supervisor, he has to discuss it with his, etc etc. etc. Do it on your own and you are likely to get a lecture " we've always done things this way."
With a small one, you're likely to be told "try it, see what happens."
I've worked for big and small, believe me, I'll take the small.

It may be a more friendly environment as there are less people, meaning it is more personal. You may be able to make more decisions and have more responsibility.
