Most of it is meaningless PR BS (anyone know what "substainable stakeholder relationships" means?) It is designed to make the media and general public forget that they sell products which kill people.
The reality is a lot more simple. British American Tabacco is a PLC company registered in the UK. Under UK company law the Board are required to run the company to "maximise returns to shareholders". That means the only objective that counts is to sell as many cigarettes as they can at the highest possible profit margin.
