What are users biggest concerns over the possible takover of Yahoo by the dreaded Microsoft?
I am interested to know because I think we should all voice our regarding the possibility of an overy gready company demanding Yahoo make up their mind in Three weeks. I personally would like to tell them where to shove their offer. I don't use Google at all because I consider their ever present (if you let it) toolbar to be nothing short of Spyware in disguise. It's time Microsoft were put in their place. It's bad enough having to deal with them and their 'unfair' terms and conditions regarding the software they produce already, without having to put up with them ruling Yahoo too. They'll just start charging over-the-odds for everything. Microsoft think they're great, but they're not. They're just a bunch of overpaid programmers who drip-feed us with software that is wholly designed to enhance their income stream and help them maintain their monopoly in the desktop operating system market. They need taking down a peg or nine.
My biggest concern is the blue screen of death that seems to accompany any microsoft product.

I will be deleting my Yahoo account the moment I get wind of a successful take-over by Microsoft, I don't agree with their privacy policy, not to mention their business ethics.
They are possibly the worst software developer in the world - only keen marketing and an established user base keeps them afloat.

I don't really care as long as yahoo answers still works it has nothing to do with me

I don't believe that there should be any concerns.
If takeover happens, nothing in Yahoo will change except some names of products.
Well at least I, as a Yahoo user, am not having any concerns.

I am dreading the prospect of (because Microsoft are money-grabbing b******s) having to pay bucket-loads of cash to use it.

I agree. If Microsoft get their hands on Yahoo how long do you think before they charge to use yahoo games, chat etc etc.
The other thing is that they will pretty have a monopoly on the 'messenger services' as i believe yim and msn are the most widely used, it wouldnt surprise me to see a charge on those as well grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
