solar power (cost is becoming lower after new research in compounds for solar panels), nuclear energy (cost to build is expensive but it is pollutant free and is very beneficial), and all your other natural sources
the best power generating system is using nuclear power plants. europe has tons of nuclear power plants; you dont see them struggling |

Almost any motion can be turned to electricity in some way, as can radiant energy (like light). Fuels can be burned to make heat to drive the motion of machines that generate electricty as well - they mostly vary on the fuel. Coal, natural gas, oil, and nuclear are very similar in this respect. |

Coal, natural gas, hydro-generation, thermal-generation, solar, wind, nuclear. If you are looking for ways to generate power for a residence, I'd recommend solar in the city and wind in the rural. There is an initial cost, but if you live where it gets hot, it'll save you a bundle. You will want to keep the local utility hook-up for cloudy/non windy days unless you have some rechargeable batteries. Have fun. GE sells some residential solar sells on their website. |

What kind of power? Electrical? Steam? Nuclear?
At what level? Microwatts? Watts? Kilowatts? Megawatts? Gigawatts?
Your question is meaningless as asked! :-)
Then the costs will be dependent on a whole host of other variables, such as geographic location, where the "power" is to applied (on-site, distant location??) and so on.
It may take a few months to calculate the answer(s)!
Big companies have whole staffs trying to find these answers!
Have a nice day! |
