Wal-Mart is getting a bad reputation for intentionally running small town "mom and pop" type places out of business. I live in a rural area, and there seems to be only two types of people, the wal mart faithful and those who absolutely hate wal mart.
Also, Wal-Mart will build a store, and then build a "super wal mart" across the street, and leave the abandoned building empty.--They could at least demolish it.
Wal-Mart is also known for low pay, and I also once heard they were caught for unfair pay between men and women.
Before Wal-Mart i'd never bought electronics that didn't work, right out of the box.
Before Wal-mart, I'd never bought a dvd and driven home, only to find that I had paid 20 bucks for an empty dvd case.
Wal-Mart needs to STOP moving into a small town, and driving out the local businesses that can't compete. They also need to pay people better, and stop selling junk. |

well in my area, Wal mart has plans to build a store but the city is fighting it. its a small community. people that believe strongly in the union do not like walmart because they only pay minimum wage and for a whole bunch of other reasons. there is a video, ill find it for you. Here it is:

Not allowing unions
Taking over small businesses and putting them out.
Forcing manufacturers to send jobs out of America
Destroying the environment
Putting their employees on welfare rather than pay them a decent wage...
Selling an arsenal of weapons to one person without any restrictions.
Putting people on city-planning commisions where ever they go to change the city policies to make it ideal for their store.
Basically, telling the EPA and park services to F- OFF
Shall I go on? |

The fact that millions of Americans (who made them what they are) are coming to realize that they now (after Mr. Sam died) are against what most (middle class, conservative, or Christian) Americans are for!
They are nothing more than a sales outlet for the communist Chinese, with a few 'merican goods thrown in to keep the foolin' going on. |

they are like the number one store so not much however i think they need torequire their employees to speak english, pay them better, keep their store clean and stocked with proper price labels etc..... |

Laws preventing them from selling certain things based on what stores are around them/who owns the lot.
(Example: Loblaw's Inc (grocery chain) stopped them from selling groceries in their store because a Sobey's grocery store owned and shared the lot they were on) |
