You will be interviewed by the department with the Job. They will authorize an offer to be made. At that point, Human Resources gets involved to review the package, make sure the salary is competitive but not out of range, then Human Resources will send the offer on behalf of the department you have interviewed for. So you must interview well with the department who wants to hire you, then you get the money offer from HR

Some companies like Boeing are also having general interviews to verify degrees and minimum skill sets. So Human Relations may have more power in the future then the department that needs the person, being able to dismiss a candidate based on not having the minimum skills required by the class of worker specified in the job. This may make the process a little less personal, and more formal and a bit harder

Good Luck

The individual departments decide who they will hire. For your question you should talk to either Personnel or Human Resources. Some new companies don't have a "personnel" department....they have " Human Resources"...but they do the same thing.

Its the job of HR department for hiring the people. They specialise in this field.any deparment whether finance sales producton markting needs people as replacement or new recruitment sends the requisition to Hr department spcifying the qualifi, experience and various other attributes. HR department either through the consultants or advertisement get the cv of the people and then short list the resumes and send to the department concerned and then the interviews are conducted at barious stages before the person is offered the job
