on a serious note... Hero Honda is a joint venture by Honda of Japan and Hero Cycles from India. The market picked up pretty fast in India ( and is doing good even now ... ) and I believe this is one of the successful ones that led to other collaborations......
we now have so many.. suzuki and maruti, mahindra & Renault ( the latest ).
while automobiles from Hero Honda are more of Indian and made for Indian roads...( I wouldnt think of a 250+ cc bike running in the streets of India !!! ) Honda is the parent company..that continues to make bikes...for races as well as domestic usage !
