Microsoft has offered Yahoo $45 billion in hopes of over-taking Google as the wealthiest search engine.
What are your thoughts?
I think Yahoo will accept the offer but I do not think Google has anything to fear.

I went in on that deal with WangDang ...
and I even told them that I had an "in" with the Easter Bunny.
They could have a life-time supply of marshmallow peeps, stale Easter eggs, AND that half-eaten cookie! Yeeeeeehaaaaaa!
WangDang was sorely disappointed.
Can you BELIEVE they turned that deal down?

I think it is just the rich getting richer. I don't think Google will have any worries. I think they are about to buy the broadcast airwaves after TV stations are required to go digital and make a nationwide wireless internet service. If they do that, they will probably be set forever. |

Microsoft's products generally suck, so them buying Yahoo means they will probably add 400 toolbars to the top and nobody will want to use it.

Yahoo-Ebay-Skype-Paypal-Craigslist would be better.... And it would happen if Yahoo and Ebay would announce a merger.... I think that would be a better company.... It would certainly add some "umpph" for Yahoo's failed Yahoo Auctions and slightly lack luster performance of "Yahoo Market Place". |
